PREGOBLIN I HATE EVERYDAY PEOPLE

Songwriting London duo PREGOBLIN have become familiar faces here at TMR. Known for their lowkey bangers 'Love Letters', 'Anna (Flowers Won't Grow)' and 2019's unlikely dance floor filler 'Combustion', 'I Hate Everyday People' is a raw new sketch of a track that was recorded during lockdown. Comprised only of acoustic guitar and Alex Sebley's earnest ramblings, which are layered for effect, the angsty offering is free and unfiltered. Beautifully imperfect, 'I Hate Everyday People' captures the magic of writing and of playing a fully realised idea for the first time. Only available via Soundcloud at present, the cynical cut has bags of potential and once other band member, producer and artist in her own right Jessica Winter gets her hands on it, who knows what direction it'll go in. -Holly Mullineaux
